Why do churchgoers live longer?

Research shows that churchgoers live longer. Please vote why you think this is from the choices below.

Why do you think churchgoers liver longer (average 7 years) than non-churchgoers?

I don't accept the research indicating that. I feel it is flawed.
If there was a similar group for atheists, agnostics and secular humanists, the impact would be the same.
It is difficult to determine cause and effect so healthier people may go to church.
Those who do not attend church may be old, mentally unstable, not mobile or not social.
Secular societies like Denmark, Norway and Estonia, show high levels of happiness and contentment and longer life spans than Americans in general.
Having a celestial sky-daddy is comforting. Plus add in immortality, heaven, seeing your dead relatives and belief in prayer and it is a compelling package.
Those little wafers and grape juice are very healthly
From an evolutionary viewpoint, belief in superstition and the supernatural helps our species cope and survive.
